Spearfish South Dakota Day 2

I know this will shock everyone, but it rained today and it was cold. Same old story.
It never even hit 60 today. At one point in the mountains it was 46. But it was a good day anyway.
We went to Custer State Park today and did the Wildlife Loop Drive. Unfortunately the wildlife were in seclusion. The only animals we saw were donkeys. Very tame. The people were out of their cars petting them. They just stood and posed for pictures.
After we got back we headed to Deadwood. What a fun town. It is touristy but the buildings are from the 1900's and they are really interesting. It is a combination of retail, dining and gambling. We had a really good time. We ate at a very nice buffet and I had prime rib that was very good.
This Travelodge leaves a lot to be desired. It just shows that what you see on the internet is not always what it seems.
